CANCELLATION POLICY
Class cancellations are the responsibility of the person booking the class and can be made through the online booking system, via your sign up email, or on the Offering Tree App, up to 9 hours prior to the scheduled commencement time for the class. Cat Cow Pilates will not accept cancellations by phone, e-mail or any other method other than by using the online booking system.
Any cancellations after the 9 hour mark will be considered a Late Cancel. If you do not cancel your class and you do not attend, you will be considered a No Show. This includes classes you are added into from the waitlist.
Members with weekly memberships will be charged the following fees for each Late Cancel + No Show. Late Cancel and No Show will incur a $10 fee.
Members with a Class Pack will forfeit their class for each Late Cancel or No Show.
Cancellation fees can be applied up to 7 days after the fact.
By booking online you are agreeing to the late cancellation and no show policy.
In exceptional circumstances we will waive our cancellation policy. Exceptional circumstances include self or direct family in hospital, death in direct family and natural disasters. Direct family refers to parents, siblings, spouse and children. In any circumstance other than these, the cancellation will not be waived.
Fluctuations in traffic/day-to-day work/school/social/family schedules do not constitute and are not considered exceptional circumstances.
NO-SHOW POLICY
If you are booked into a class & do not show up & do not cancel, your will forfeit a pass & be charged a $10 fee.
No-Shows usually happen for 3 reasons, so here are some ways to avoid a fee:
Plans change & you can no longer attend.
Solution: Open the Offering Tree App & cancel your booking as soon as possible, or via the website or your booking confirmation email.
Dates get mixed up or your forgot.
Solution: Open the Offering Tree App & on the 'Home' screen you will see three horizontal lines on the top left corner. Use this menu to open up the notification settings and make sure your notifications are turned on. A confirmation email is sent when you book so you know its locked in. You have the option to save this to your calendar. Or if we are going old school, write it in your diary, stick post it notes on your computer to help you remember!
Not checking Waitlist notifications.
Solution: Treat your waitlist like a booking. Assume you will be attending, keep an eye out for text/email notifications & have your activewear packed & ready to go. Plans change? Remove yourself from the waitlist ASAP. More info below.
We understand sometimes cancellations & no-shows are unavoidable, but we need to be strict & consistent to keep it fair between members. In exceptional circumstances the cancellation policy will be waived. This includes natural disasters, death or hospitalisation of you or direct family members. Direct family refers to parents, siblings, spouse & children. The following do not constitute as exceptional circumstances - changes in daily routine including work, school or family schedules, traffic fluctuations, difficulty finding a park, booking/class time errors or forgetting to cancel within the timeframe.
WAITLIST POLICY
What does it mean "Waitlist?"
If the class shows as "WAITLIST", this means the class is fully booked but you can add yourself to the Waitlist. It is definitely worth jumping on, odds are you'll get moved into the class. You will only be charged if you get off the waitlist. Members get off the waitlist on a first-come first-serve basis.
How will you be notified?
Should a spot open up, you will receive an email & text confirming that you have been removed from the waitlist & added into the class. You do not need to reply to the notification, it is assumed you are attending & the system will automatically add you in up until 1 HOUR before class start time.
Within 1 HOUR of class start time - Book yourself in
If a spot opens up WITHIN 1 hour of class start time, the system will not automatically add you in. Instead, be proactive & check if a spot has opened up on the website or Offering Tree App. If so, the class will show 'Register now'. You can then book the class as you usually would as the waitlist is canceled 60minutes before class.
IMPORTANT - Treat your waitlist like a booking
If plans change & you can no longer attend the class, it is your responsibility to REMOVE yourself from the waitlist. The 9 hour cancellation & 'no-show' policy applies. For example, if you don't remove yourself from the waitlist & are automatically added into the class within 9 hours of class start time, you will forfeit a pass when you cancel. If you not check your email or text notification & do not show up to your class, you will forfeit a pass.
Beware - Early morning waitlists!
If you are on the waitlist for an early morning class, please set your alarm so that you have enough time to attend incase you have been added to the class overnight. If you would prefer a sleep in, remove yourself from the waitlist before your head hits the pillow to avoid losing a pass!
